UDM Certificate Authority

The University of Detroit Mercy has its own in-house certificate authority.  Having a certificate authority allows us to issue SSL certificates as a part of our Internet and Web site security strategy.  Such certificates enable secure communication across the network..

Importing our root certificate and marking it as trusted will prevent your software from displaying warning messages indicating that your software does not trust certificates signed by the University of Detroit Mercy Certificate Authority.
