TitanTV Channels 60 and 61

Location:  Channels 60 and 61 on the University Cable TV Network

The Universtiy operates two cable TV stations that are available on campus through the campus TV network.  All resident rooms have free cable TV service.  In addition, there are a number of locations where cable TV is available to all including the Titan Dining Room, C&F main hall and the C&F lounge.

Faculty utilizing the multimedia podiums in the C&F building may also display cable TV service and broadcast it through the built-in projection equipment.

Channel 60 is programmed to list information and announcements of current events in a classic "government channel format".  The blandness of the presentation and the choice of elevator style music is by design.  Postings are accepted by submission through the online Helpdesk system at http://helpdesk.udmercy.edu.

Channel 61 is programmed to display all video based content we have been able to get our hands on.  The content is played in a continuous loop and includes many men's and womens basketball games, gala presentations, Celebrate Spirit presentations, CLASA presentations, Mission and Identity presentations, various student works and much, much more.  Submissions of UDM related materal are accepted by contacting the Associate Vice President for Information Technology.  On occasion, ITS will send a camera person to tape an event of interest to the University community at-large.
