DHCP Setup for Windows ME

• From the Start menu, select Settings, choose Control Panel.
• Double-click on Network.
• Under the Configuration tab, double click on the TCP/IP component for your Ethernet adapter (not TCP/IP -> Dial-Up Adapter).
• On the IP Address tab; click on Obtain an IP address automatically.
• On the Gateway tab; Click on the installed gateway address (if there is one) and then remove.
• On the DNS tab; click on each of the installed DNS addresses (if any) and then remove. Then click on Disable DNS.
• On the WINS tab; click on DHCP for WINS.
• Click OK for the TCP/IP Properties window.
• Click OK for the Network window.
• Click Yes to restart your computer.
